3-STEPS TO SAVE WALLUM
We urgently need your help to protect ecologically significant land under threat of development in Brunswick Heads.
Over 230 vital trees, including Scribbly Gums and Wallum Banksias, are under threat of being bulldozed.
Can you take three steps help us place pressure on our decision makers to intervene and help us to Save Wallum?
Click each of the buttons below to add your voice!
Step #1 - Contact Councillors
Council will be voting this week on whether to give final consent to the developer to proceed with bulldozing Wallum. We need to make sure our Councillor’s understand that the community does not want this project to go ahead.
Step #2 - Email Environment Minister
Tanya Plibersek could intervene and require the developer to investigate the presence of threatened species on the site... potentially our best chance to save Wallum. But they won't act unless we put the pressure on!
Step #3 - Keep in Touch
As long as Wallum has not been cleared, we have a chance to save it. You can use the QR code to hop on our website and write the Council and the Environment Minister and we’ll give you the option to sign up for further updates.
